KYC & Identity Verification –
Why do I need to complete KYC verification?
To ensure the security of our platform and comply with applicable anti-fraud and compliance requirements, all traders must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification before becoming eligible to receive payouts.
Legion Funding uses Sumsub, a trusted third-party identity verification provider, to securely process all KYC checks.
When should I complete KYC verification?
You can complete your KYC verification at any time from your Dashboard → Settings → Verification.
While KYC is required before your first payout request, we recommend completing it as early as possible to avoid delays during the payout process.
How do I complete KYC verification?
Simply log in to your Legion Funding Dashboard, navigate to:
Dashboard → Settings → Verification
From there, you'll be redirected to Sumsub to complete your identity verification.
How is my identity verified?
Identity verification is completed securely through Sumsub.
As part of the verification process, you will be required to:
Upload a valid government-issued photo ID.
Complete a liveness (selfie) check to verify your identity.
The verification process is secure, fast, and designed to protect both traders and the platform.
Which documents are accepted?
The following valid, government-issued photo identification documents are accepted:
Passport
National Identity Card
Driver's License
All documents must be:
Valid and unexpired.
Clearly visible and readable.
Uploaded in full without cropping or obstruction.
What is the liveness check?
The liveness check is a facial verification completed through Sumsub to confirm that the person submitting the identity document is the legitimate document holder.
This additional security step helps prevent identity fraud and unauthorized account access.
How long does KYC verification take?
Most verifications are completed shortly after submission. Processing times may vary depending on document quality, verification volume, or if additional review is required.
What happens if my verification is rejected?
If your verification cannot be completed, you may be asked to:
Upload a clearer image of your document.
Submit a different valid government-issued ID.
Repeat the liveness check.
Our Compliance Team may contact you if further information is required.

Yes.
All identity verification is securely handled by Sumsub using industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your information is processed solely for identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You can complete your KYC verification at any time through Dashboard → Settings → Verification. Legion Funding reserves the right to request identity verification at any stage of your participation in our programs. Failure to successfully complete KYC verification may result in delays or denial of payout requests, suspension of account access, or other compliance actions where applicable.
